Tea Talk: April

These last couple of days (well, more like April in general) have definitely been a bit crazy, but good news! We’ve all made it to Friday! That alone calls for celebration and a cupcake, of course.

I’m currently catching up on homework and filling out my to-do list for the day to make myself feel a bit more accomplished. I’ve also made a cup of tea, because for some reason, tea always makes me feel like I have my life together.

So, I’ve decided to start a new little series called Tea Talks! The name comes simply from the fact that while writing this, I was drinking tea. And, also, who doesn’t love a little alliteration?

Basically, I’m just going to write a post towards the end of every month with little “behind the scenes” updates on what’s happened, what’s happening, and what’s going to happen.

So…April! Well, I feel like I’ve been slacking a bit on the blog posting because of work overflow and projects, but thankfully, mid-terms are now complete and I’ll hopefully have more free time to start posting again! I’ve been thinking about picking a specific day to post, so that I have a more consistent schedule, but for now I’m just going to make it my goal to write at least once a week and we’ll see how it goes from there…

Also, there’s only one full month left of my freshman year of college, which is absolutely, ridiculously crazy to think about. It feels like just yesterday I was sitting in a car driving to Philadelphia for move-in day completely terrified. But since I’ve survived so far, I would like to think that I’m at least somewhat qualified to share my advice to other nervously excited Freshman. So, there will be a College Advice series coming up soon!

I’m currently working on ideas to expand Sunflower Daze this summer, one of which is to start a Youtube channel to go along with blog posts! I thought I would start working on this a bit early and I made a little video montage with clips from my trip to the Bahamas to break in my channel. You can watch the video below and also here’s a link to the blog post I wrote a couple weeks ago if you want to check out some more pictures and all that jazz.

Anyways, I think that’s all for now! Thanks for sticking by for some more of my rambling and I hope you have a lovely weekend.
